This work embodies the idea that sky, stream, and living creatures all arise from the same flow of life. When viewed as a whole, it reveals a vast current, while in the details one can find koi swimming upstream and subtle insects—symbols of vitality and perseverance. The composition can appear as both flowing water and an expansive sky, expressing the universal truth that all things are interconnected.
The current edition is printed on Awa Washi, though it can also be created on the artist’s special Tango Washi upon request. This is a limited edition of 5, available only as a set of 4 prints.
